About this release
D Stone’s Envision arrives on Forever Days with a remix from Julya Karma on the reverse. The Amsterdam producer’s approach brings samples, live instrumentation and electronic production into house music, drawing on disco, funk, garage and deeper club rhythms. This two-track release puts the original version on the A-side and gives the B-side over to a different perspective on the same material.
Julya Karma, who emerged from Brooklyn’s underground scene and is now based in Berlin, supplies the reinterpretation. For D Stone, the release follows a musical background in piano and guitar and a production style shaped by disco, funk, garage and 1990s house. The original and remix are paired on twelve-inch vinyl in a stickered sleeve.
