Tempa turns to D1 for the second volume of its Archive series, gathering eight productions across two 12-inches. Enigma and E.T open the set, with Life Force, Earth, Snatch, Tabala, Cosmic and Verb completing the selection.

These tracks draw on the deep dubstep sound at the heart of the label: restrained arrangements, weighty low end and plenty of space around the drums. The double-vinyl format gives a substantial cross-section of D1's work, following the series' first volume devoted to Coki. A focused collection for anyone tracing the connections between early dubstep, dark garage and the wider 140 sound.
