About this release
Dead Sound brings together Marco Sterk, better known as Young Marco, and John Moods for an eight-track album on Music From Memory. Sterk's melodic, textured production meets Moods' emotionally direct songwriting, with psychedelic touches running through the collaboration. The pair began discussing a record in 2022 and made Into The Void during a concentrated few days together in 2024. Both have links to the label: Sterk through Gaussian Curve and Moods through The Zenmenn's Hidden Gem. From Pure Blue to A New Kind Of Love, the album explores vulnerability, darkness and the possibility of healing.
