About this release
Delano Smith's A Message For The DJ returns on Still Music, pairing the Detroit producer with Diamondancer's distinctive vocals. A fixture in house sets since its original release, the record brings together Smith's original version and Jimpster's enduring Red Light Remix on one 12-inch.
The A-side couples A Message For The DJ with Inception Dub, while Jimpster takes the full B-side. His remix has travelled well beyond its initial release, finding a place with DJs across the house spectrum. This reissue puts all three cuts back within reach, making it a useful addition for anyone discovering the record through the remix or returning to the original.
