Demuir - Conversing With Angels (Ltd. 200 copies)

Toronto producer Demuir brings disco loops, soulful vocals and deeper house rhythms to Conversing With Angels on Ira James' Vessel Recordings Group. The title track opens with an upbeat, loop-driven groove, while Everynight takes a deeper route through funk, vocal hooks and filtered synths. Both cuts keep the rhythm central, with melodic details giving each its own character.

On the flip, Mizz Hunni shifts towards a tougher club sound, pairing a weightier beat with a more direct vocal arrangement. The accompanying dub offers another approach to the same track, rounding out a four-cut EP that moves from disco house warmth to more forceful dancefloor material. This 12" edition is limited to 200 copies.
