About this release
Diogo Strausz draws on the Brazilian disco and boogie productions of Robson Jorge and Lincoln Olivetti for Dance Para Se Salvar, his album for Favorite Recordings. Vintage studio equipment supports a live musical approach, with drums, percussion, bass and vocals surrounding Strausz's guitars, synthesizers, brass and string arrangements. Ele é Artista features Bruno 'Patchworks' Hovart, while Carnaval De Gringo and Popotão Grandão bookend the set. Strausz recorded and mixed the album at Haus Of Strausz, with Frank Merritt mastering at Carvery Studios in London. This vinyl edition comes in a tip-on sleeve and includes all eight tracks.
