Dave 'Love' Lee returns for the seventh Disco Combine 12-inch with two tape-sourced disco reworks. “Not This Time (Baby)” gets the Give Me Some Moore treatment, opening with an a cappella passage before bringing its strings and orchestral arrangements into focus. Lee makes room for instrumental sections that deserve a little more time in the spotlight.

On the other side, “Jammin' Up In Smoke” takes a slower route to the peak. The Ready Steady Eddie Mix builds around a rolling groove, with gospel energy and falsetto vocals arriving as the arrangement opens up. Two generous, carefully shaped mixes with plenty for dancers and DJs to get into, pressed as part of the vinyl-only Disco Combine series.
