About this release
DJ Alone Again makes his Wolf Music debut with Orbital Constructs, a four-track 12-inch shaped by deep, soulful New York house. Following releases for Yore, House Salad and Dobro, the producer brings a warm, raw and emotionally direct sound rooted in underground dance music.
Freedom Of House opens with an echoing spoken-word tribute to house culture, before State Of Flux adds vibraphone-led garage swing. Horizontal Patterns moves through Italo-house bass and jazz-inflected percussion, while In Your Orbit closes with a dubby, dreamlike sunrise feel.
