About this release
DJ Sneak’s Bounce EP moves through different shades of his rhythm-led house sound. The title track settles around a low-slung, elastic bassline, while El Bodeguero lifts the pace with Latin-influenced percussion. On the reverse, Already Started takes a more relaxed route, leaving room for a lighter, open-air feel before Moon Child closes with a skipping groove. The record keeps its focus on bass, swing and the interaction of repeated elements, giving each track a clear rhythmic character. Refuge Recordings presents the four originals together on twelve-inch vinyl.
