About this release
DJ Soch’s Let Me Tell You EP brings organ-led house and garage influences to WOLF Music. The title track combines skipping drums, warm keys, bass and a soulful male vocal, while the Power Mix reduces the voice and brings the church organ further forward. Chewing Gum takes a more hypnotic deep-house route on the reverse, paired with a Prince Palmer remix that draws on 1990s US garage. The Black Angus Records founder presents two productions and two alternate treatments across the record, connecting his longstanding house background with WOLF’s catalogue. Each version gives a different balance to the vocal, keyboards and rhythm.
