About this release
Don Carlos and Robert Owens join forces on Inspired, bringing the producer’s deep house approach together with Owens’ distinctive vocals. The House Mix gives the song a rich, soulful setting, while the Classic Mix draws on warmer chords and a Chicago-style bassline. The Dub Mix takes the arrangement further back, letting the groove and lighter instrumental details carry the final version. Released through Seasons Limited, the record presents the song in three complementary forms, moving from its fuller vocal treatment towards a more open, late-night finish.
