About this release
Don West's self-titled EP brings the Sydney singer's soul and R&B songwriting to vinyl. First released in November 2024, the set moves through six songs, opening with Rather Be Lonely, Small Change and Friends before turning to What Turns You On, No. 5 and Wasted Gold. It captures the early work of an artist associated with Australia's contemporary soul revival, presenting the songs together as a single programme. This Mandatory Music edition divides the EP evenly across both sides, with three tracks on each, and is pressed on black vinyl at 33⅓ RPM.
