About this release
Remote Echoes gathers fourteen recordings from Clay Parton and Canaan Amber's Duster project, drawn from years of home four-track recording. Cassette demos issued as Christmas Dust and On The Dodge sit alongside previously unreleased material, bringing fuzzy guitars, inexpensive synthesisers, muffled percussion and quiet vocals into the same collection. Before The Veil opens the album, followed by Cigarettes And Coffee and The Weed Supreme, with Lost Time, Country Heather and Darby among the later pieces. Numero Group's release preserves the informal character of the recordings. This edition is pressed on clear vinyl with sea blue and ruby splatter.
