About this release
Danny Krivit reworks two Earth, Wind & Fire recordings for this officially licensed twelve-inch. Brazilian Rhyme occupies the first side, with Runnin’ on the reverse, bringing the group’s blend of funk, soul and jazz into an edit format. Above Board Distribution produced the reissue in conjunction with Krivit and rights holder Sony Music Entertainment. The audio was remastered from Sony’s original sources by Optimum Mastering in Bristol, while the sleeve reproduces Columbia’s white-label disco promo artwork. Rather than adding remixes by different producers, the single keeps Krivit’s two treatments together, giving each recording a full side.
