About this release
Eclectic Journeys takes Melodies Of Love into a darker late-night setting with four edits built around dub, disco and Balearic pop. Your Face combines a proto-house pulse with melodic bass movement and rising horns. No Talk follows with loose percussion, guitar, floating brass and synth stabs. It's In My Head pairs a familiar dance rhythm with funk bass, dubbed textures and wistful vocals, while Talking Machine heads towards a stranger electro-funk finish through off-centre drums and restless synthesis. The record moves between song-led warmth and more abstract dancefloor rhythms without losing its melodic thread.
