About this release
Elkka's debut album centres her voice within electronic arrangements that explore queer intimacy, freedom and pleasure. Written over eighteen months, Prism Of Pleasure moves between the repetitive beats of Make Me, the slower pulse of Your Skin and the developing synthesizer patterns of surrender2me. John Carroll Kirby joins Crushhh and Passionfruit, while Dot Major contributes to Air Tight. The ten-track sequence follows changes in texture and mood, connecting personal songwriting with the rhythms of club music. This Ninja Tune ZEN298 edition presents the complete album on dusty pink marbled vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve with a 12-inch square insert.
