About this release
Rotterdam producer Fabio Santos brings No Romance to Eardrums with three originals and a remix from label founder Dennis Quin. Inside and the title track fill the A-side, with Quin's version of Inside and Fobia completing the flip. Santos' approach draws on raw rhythms, rolling basslines and stripped-back house production, with influences including Dungeon Meat and Slapfunk Records. The four-track programme places his own productions alongside an interpretation from Quin, connecting the two producers through the label's focus on rhythm and groove. The release is presented here in its vinyl sequence.
