About this release
Faithless' 1996 debut brings house, trance, trip hop and downtempo songs into the same album. Reverence and Salva Mea share the programme with Insomnia, while Don't Leave, Angeline and Flowerstand Man show its quieter side. Rollo and Sister Bliss handle production, with Maxi Jazz and Jamie Catto among the vocalists and Dido on Flowerstand Man. This Sony double-LP reissue presents the original ten-track running order, from the opening title track through to Drifting Away. It captures the group's early balance of spoken vocals, song-based arrangements and extended club rhythms.
