About this release
Father Sheed brings offbeat sampling, punchy drum grooves and layered synth textures to Boom!, following his Pancumbia contribution to the A MAD 5 Years compilation. The EP moves across house, disco and breakbeat influences, with its four vinyl tracks sharing a playful, rhythm-led approach. Boom! and Feels Nice take the first side, followed by A Familiar Heat and Eshgh. The production keeps the relationship between sampled material, drums and synthesizers at the centre of the record.
