About this release
Flamingo Pier’s second album Woven Together brings the New Zealand trio’s melodic approach to dance music into a ten-track set. Luke Walker, Dominic Jones and Brad Craig wrote, produced and released the record themselves, drawing on house, disco and electronic pop.
Opening track ‘Cool Nights’ takes inspiration from 1980s Italo disco, setting up an album built around warm melodies and precise grooves. ‘No Excuses’, ‘Glowdown’ and the title track lead through to ‘Piano 130’ and ‘Golden Age’. This heavyweight vinyl LP comes in a picture sleeve.
