About this release
Robert and Lyric Hood bring Floorplan’s gospel, soul and house-infused approach to the fabric presents series. The vinyl selection opens with their own You’re a Shining Star and returns to the duo’s work on Only God, placing those productions alongside music by Dale Move, Mathias Kaden, Wh0 and Cristoph. Their remix of Will Clarke and House Gospel Choir’s Weekend Love provides another link between the duo’s production work and their selections as DJs. Across the set, vocal house, piano-led arrangements and techno energy reflect the range of the Floorplan project. This double LP contains eight tracks selected from the wider release.
