About this release
Fouk bring three collaborations together on Tune It Out, a four-track 12-inch spanning house, disco and nu-disco. The title track teams the Dutch duo with The Phenomenal Handclap Band, setting vocals over a supple bassline and interlocking guitars with roots in late-1970s and early-1980s disco. Its extended vocal and instrumental versions occupy the A-side, giving the arrangement more space than the digital single. On the reverse, Archil & Leon join Fouk for Sundays, followed by the 79.5 collaboration Reverie. The record brings those different vocal and instrumental partnerships into a single release for South Street International.
