Four Tet's Sixteen Oceans balances melodic club music with intimate ambient sketches. Originally released in 2020, Kieran Hebden's album threads intricate rhythms, soft synthesiser tones and natural textures into a varied but cohesive listen.

“Baby”, featuring vocals by Ellie Goulding, and “Teenage Birdsong” offer two of its most immediate moments, while “Love Salad” and “Insect Near Piha Beach” stretch into deeper rhythmic territory. The quieter pieces leave space around the beats and reward listening to the album from beginning to end. This is the 2022 double vinyl repress in a gatefold sleeve.
