About this release
Black Vinyl Records marks its thirtieth anniversary with another four cuts from the label's archives. Fresh & Low open with the Latin swing of Especiale in its Carnival Mix, followed by Kerri Chandler's We Can.
The reverse pairs David Harness's 2022 remix of Brent Laurence's Spirit with Scott Wozniak's version of King DK's Can't Read Your Mind. It's a well-balanced selection of deep and soulful house, moving from percussion-led warmth to vocal material with plenty of room in the groove. Four established names on one black-vinyl 12-inch, housed in a Black Vinyl Records sleeve.
