About this release
Frits Wentink returns to Clone Royal Oak with Redline EP, a four-track set of modern house built around his loose swing and warm, off-centre production. Road-tested at a Royal Oak label night, the tracks place their emphasis on groove, pairing restless rhythms with the producer’s familiar wobble.
“Heat Shield” and “Mind State” take the A-side, while “Slip Stream” and “Burned” complete the record. This repress brings the full EP back on a single vinyl pressing, a compact selection for listeners drawn to Wentink’s combination of playful detail and dancefloor weight.
