About this release
[g] introduces Deep Exposure with curtain, a four-track vinyl EP built around spacious, exploratory electronic music. The label grew from her residency on The Lot Radio, a project concerned with how listening can become a more deliberate part of everyday life.
The A-side pairs ‘curtain’ and ‘shade’, with ‘blind’ and ‘drape’ on the reverse. Shaped by her work at New York’s Ergot Records and an interest in Pauline Oliveros’s approach to listening, the release invites attention to rhythm, space and small changes in sound.
