About this release
Galaxians bring street soul into their established mixture of live disco, funk and boogie on Feel In Motion. The Leeds trio's third album introduces vocalist Beccy Young, whose phrasing sits within the interplay of basslines, drums and electronic arrangements. Worlds Apart, Movin' On and Fantasy connect dancefloor momentum with song-led hooks, while Higher moves towards a more reflective feel. The music draws on classic disco and UK street soul without losing the group's live character. Released by Some Pulp Recordings, the album spreads its programme across two records, ending with Make Time, Holdin' Out (For Love) and From Red To Blue.
