About this release
Winter Sun / Fever Dream brings together two Gaussian Curve recordings that began as sketches during Amsterdam sessions in 2016. Gigi Masin, Jonny Nash and Marco Sterk returned to the pieces in 2022, completing the arrangements and mixes. Winter Sun connects Nash's guitar with Masin's Rhodes and Sterk's understated electronics, supported by a CR-78 rhythm. Fever Dream introduces a 303 bassline and 808 drums, with Masin's vocals adding a different intensity. Music From Memory presents the two completed tracks on 12-inch vinyl, showing both the trio's familiar ambient approach and a broader electronic palette.
