About this release
Recorded live in Third Man's Blue Room in Nashville, this LP captures Geese performing material from Getting Killed before the studio album's release. Cut directly to acetate, the session places the band's playing at the centre, preserving the movement and tension of a live performance. Eight selections include ‘Islands Of Men’, ‘Half Real’, ‘Taxes’ and ‘Trinidad’, offering a different perspective on the songs. Recorded by Shibby Poole and engineered and cut by Poole with Wes Garland, the album was manufactured at Third Man Pressing in Detroit.
