About this release
The fortieth-anniversary Careless Whisper EP brings together four versions of George Michael’s 1984 song. The remastered recording and Extended Mix share the first side, while the reverse pairs a performance recorded at Madison Square Garden in New York with the instrumental version. The live recording was previously unreleased when this edition appeared in 2024, adding a concert perspective to the familiar studio arrangements. This standard black twelve-inch is cut at 45rpm using half-speed mastering, presenting the single, extended, live and instrumental approaches together across two sides.
Format: 12" black vinyl; 45rpm, half-speed cut
