About this release
Faith is George Michael's 1987 debut solo album, blending pop, soul, R&B and rock within a carefully arranged studio sound. Written, arranged, produced and performed almost entirely by Michael, it moves between the spare title track, the fuller mood of Father Figure and the balladry of One More Try and Kissing A Fool. This double-LP edition expands the original album programme with I Want Your Sex in its Monogamy Mix, bringing together Rhythm 1 - Lust, Rhythm 2 - Brass In Love and Rhythm 3 - Last Request. The first disc retains the album sequence, with Monkey and Kissing A Fool on the second.
