About this release
In Sight Vol. 2 completes Gerardo Frisina’s two-volume project for Schema Records, combining Latin jazz, funk and soul with electronic dance production. Four compositions sit alongside revised arrangements of Mindoro, Tarab and Mystical Funk, bringing a more spacious, psychedelic character to the seven-track sequence. Uzuri and Gigil open the first side, with Ya’aburnee leading the reverse before Tarab’s Dub Version and Mystical Funk’s Album Version. Piano, Fender Rhodes, trumpet, saxophone, flute, bass and percussion contribute to the record’s instrumental palette. Conceived, written, arranged and produced by Frisina, the album was recorded at Blue Spirit Recording Studio in 2024.
