About this release
Getdown Services bring Your Medal's In The Post and Primordial Slot Machine together on one record, pairing two EPs from Josh Law and Ben Sadler. Their spoken-word rants and wry observations sit over dancefloor rhythms, moving between disco, Motown-style beats and slacker funk. The first side includes Dog Dribble and Both Our Dads Like James Brown, while the second takes in Chrysalis and Eat Quiche, Sleep, Repeat. Across both sets, the duo use sharp one-liners and an irreverent delivery to connect their everyday subjects with a restless, rhythm-driven sound.
