About this release
Gianfranco Reverberi's score for Renato Polselli's Rivelazioni Di Uno Psichiatra Sul Mondo Perverso Del Sesso combines an insistent rhythm section with electronic instruments and improvised textures. Drum machines and synthesisers sit alongside flute, piano, percussion, saxophone and vibraphone, moving between psychedelic funk, jazz and darker passages. Four Flies recovered the soundtrack from the original sixteen-track tapes and prepared it for this release. The nineteen-track vinyl sequence includes Psicolimite and its variations, Revelations Blues and the extended title piece. The black double LP comes in a gatefold sleeve with artwork by Eric Adrian Lee.
