About this release
Helpless / Sales In The Wind connects two periods in Gideon Jackson's production work, pairing material from 1996 with a recording made in 2025. The Original Mix of Helpless comes from his Outa The Blue EP, carrying the bass-heavy rhythms and hypnotic movement associated with London's early tech house scene. It is joined by the Freeform Mix, an unreleased reworking from the same year, before Sales In The Wind brings the selection forward. Issued by GEMS, the EP places Jackson's earlier club sound beside a later production while keeping its focus on house grooves.
