About this release
Gledd makes his Razor-N-Tape debut with four edits drawn from boogie, highlife and zouk. The Italian producer and Saint Wax Records founder brings a driving, hypnotic approach to the material, reshaping the grooves with a light studio touch. Itongo and Lost In Abidjian occupy the A-side, with Gaboon and Sumaya completing the flip. The record connects those different musical sources through an emphasis on rhythm and repetition.
