About this release
Razor-N-Tape’s second RNT In The D selection brings together four editors connected with the label’s Movement Detroit event. Glenn Underground opens with a soulful rework, while Dez Andrés follows with a deeper, jazz-inflected approach. On the reverse, GE-OLOGY works with low-slung funk and JKriv moves into a faster Italo groove. The record reflects the different rhythmic instincts of the contributors, connecting soul, disco and house through edits made for the floor. Issued as a vinyl-only release, it pairs the four named versions on a single twelve-inch, with each editor given one track.
