About this release
Peace & Harmony is Harry Mosco's 1979 solo album, made after his work with Nigerian group The Funkees. Mosco wrote, arranged and produced the record, bringing together disco, funk, soul and reggae across six songs. Sexy Dancer opens with a steady dance rhythm, while Step On and Do It Together develop the album's funk and boogie side. The title track shifts towards reggae, followed by Peaceful Dub, which gives its arrangement a more spacious treatment. Isle Of Jura's official LP reissue presents the original programme, making the relationship between the vocal songs and the dub piece clear.
