About this release
Saffron pairs two MF instrumental selections in the Hip Hop Legends series on Doom US. The A-side settles into warm, melancholy chords and a measured boom-bap rhythm. Arrow Root brings a contrasting jazz-led feel on the reverse, with trumpet lines and a looser rhythmic pattern. This two-track 7-inch places the focus on the instrumental arrangements, linking both sides through their relaxed pace and melodic detail.
