About this release
Housey Doingz rework material associated with Frankie Knuckles and Jamie Principle on Baby Dunit, linking Chicago house foundations with the sound of London’s early tech-house scene. This limited hand-stamped 12" brings the record back in two versions.
The vocal cut pairs a tougher rhythmic frame with a loose, trippy atmosphere. On the reverse, the dub strips the arrangement back and pushes its garage-adjacent shuffle further forward.
