The Outer Edge returns to the original versions of Hudson People’s Trip To Your Mind, a disco-funk favourite with roots in sessions recorded in 1976. This 12-inch pairs the full-length Hithouse version with the remix by Chris Hill and Robbie Vincent, both originally released in 1979.

Following later reworks by Delfonic, LTJ Xperience and DJ Friction, this edition brings the focus back to the recordings that started the story. With the master tapes lost, the music has been transferred and restored from the best available sources, and the sleeve reproduces the scarce original Disco 45 design. Essential territory for anyone drawn to the crossover between disco, boogie and jazz-funk.
