About this release
Inkswel brings Robert Owens's vocals together with Leonard Charles's keys and synths on Space Love, joined by Han Litz on flute. Released by Cosmocities, the original combines soulful songwriting, programmed rhythms and a Balearic atmosphere. Steve Spacek's remix shifts the song towards broken beats and bass movement, while the Fluterumental Mix gives the instrumental parts more room. On the reverse, Osunlade works under his Yoruba Soul alias, supplying both a vocal remix and an instrumental version. The five-track twelve-inch follows the song through these different arrangements, connecting Inkswel's production with the distinct approaches of its guest musicians and remixers.
