About this release
Inner City’s Good Life brings soulful vocals and bright synthesizer melodies together in a recording rooted in Detroit’s late-1980s house scene. This KMS edition pairs a remastered version of the original with two alternative approaches on the reverse. An Inner City edit of Carl Craig’s remix shifts the production into a different setting, while the remastered Dub Mix gives the arrangement more instrumental space. The selection connects the familiar song with versions that explore its underlying rhythm and melodic parts. All three mixes appear together on a twelve-inch in a KMS label sleeve.
