Intrusion's A Gentle Embrace gives dub techno room to breathe: two long cuts built around spacious chords, low-end pressure and the small details that draw you further into a mix. Recorded near Detroit, the original moves between submerged house rhythms and ambient textures, with field recordings and modular sounds drifting through the gaps.

The reduced version takes that atmosphere deeper, letting its bassline and slowly shifting layers do the work. Stefan Betke, better known as Pole, remastered the recordings at scape mastering in Berlin from the original session masters. This repress comes on crystal and silver mixed clear vinyl. A strong choice for anyone drawn to the spacious end of Detroit techno and dub.
