About this release
Moon Phase Gardening is a six-track album by ISOR29, the project of Colombian musician Tomas Garcia Station. Recorded in a Lisbon flat during the first pandemic lockdown, the music developed from a limited setup of microphone, computer, Korg MS20, hang drum and field recorder. The title takes inspiration from gardening traditions linked to the lunar cycle, while the recordings use electronic rhythms and textures to document a period of reflection. Spirals, Genesis and Mi Vida lead into Doll House City, Banshiki and Raga Soledad. Second Circle's vinyl LP presents those six compositions as the complete record programme.
