About this release
Jackie Moore's Holding Back returns in a four-version package on A's And Bees. Moplen's remix opens the record, working from the original stems to build a disco arrangement around slap bass, strings and Moore's vocal. The original vocal mix, produced and arranged by Bobby Eli, completes the A-side. John Morales and Sergio Munzabai's M&M Breakdown and Chin-Mental mixes take the reverse, giving the same recording two further settings. Moore's version follows David Simmons' Holdin' Back, written by Gregg Diamond and Steve Love. This twelve-inch brings the new remix and original versions together.
