About this release
Leak 04-13 (Bait Ones) collects Jai Paul's recordings in a sequence that moves between full songs, demos and brief unfinished sketches. Str8 Outta Mumbai, Genevieve and Jasmine sit alongside short pieces such as raw beat and good time, giving the album its distinctive shifts in scale and texture. The writing connects electronic pop production with tightly arranged vocals and layered rhythms. This second-edition vinyl pressing uses XL's house-bag sleeve design, with amended artwork and a metallic sticker. Its sixteen-track programme runs from one of the bredrins to BTSTU (Demo), retaining the unfinished and demo designations where supplied.
