About this release
‘Cosmos Giants’ brings Janko Nilovic together with JJ Whitefield of the Poets of Rhythm and Igor Zhukovsky of the Soul Surfers. The trio’s collaboration for Broc Recordz combines instrumental funk, psychedelic textures and soul across thirteen tracks. Short pieces such as ‘Full Metal’ and ‘Location’ sit alongside the longer ‘North Star’ and closing ‘Through The Fingers’, giving the album a sequence of compact musical scenes. The vinyl programme opens with ‘Starfall’ and carries the same thirteen selections across two sides.
