About this release
Canadian producer Jay Tripwire has always operated at the edges of dub, tech and house, and Irene is a perfect embodiment of his deliciously deep sound.
The original moves with smooth drums, delicate pads and wordless vocals drifting in and out like a dream. Thomas Melchior is a natural remixer here, bringing his signature finesse to a version that is just as deep but slightly more driven.
