About this release
Noisy Us brings Jeez Marquis' footwork, acid and breakbeat ideas to Cape St. Francis. The producer, also known as Youniss, draws on a background in dubstep and drum & bass for five tracks that move between clipped rhythms, breaks and club grooves. I'm Eddie Murphy In Eastern Europe and Just A Little open the vinyl programme, followed by Kapsalon Is Deconstructed Kebab, LYING + CHEATING and Rejected Pepsi. Russell E.L. Butler mastered the record, with artwork by Zeevaarder inspired by Antwerp's diamond district. This twelve-inch edition was issued in a run of 300 copies.
